About us

The Trinetra Foundation has been established as an independent private limited company and is governed by five Directors.
It will be the philanthropic arm of Trinetra Investment Management and will be funded solely by its donations.

Our Directors
The Directors bring a wide set of skills and extensive cumulative experience across a variety of areas relevant to the work of the Trinetra Foundation.
Khaled Dawas
Khaled heads a regional department of surgery at a major London hospital and is a clinical lecturer at University College London, where he trains and teaches medical students and trainee surgeons. Khaled grew up in the Middle East and lived in Cyprus and Australia. His educational interests led him, in 2017, to become the chairman of trustees of FQMS, a charity supporting medical schools and education in Palestine.
Khaled read Medicine at the University of Cambridge.
Miriam Gargesi
Miriam leads the Government Affairs activities in Europe, Middle East and Africa for Illumina, a global leader in DNA sequencing. She has long-standing experience in government affairs at pan-European and country-specific level, spanning pharmaceuticals as well as medical devices. Miriam holds an MSc in European Political Economy from the London School of Economics and Political Science, as well as a BSc in International Relations from the University of Wales and McGill University.
Peter Lunt
Peter is an investment professional, specialising in Sustainable and Responsible Investments, with experience in pension funds management. He has extensive experience with integrating Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) issues into investment management, and has worked in impact investing. He started his careers as a professional forester.
Peter holds a Bachelor of Science (Forestry) and a Bachelor of Economics, a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance & Investment, and a Master of Environment. He is a member of the Institute of Directors.
Chrysanthi Savvidou
Born in Cyprus, Chrysanthi attained a degree in Civil Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens and a MPhil and a PhD from Cambridge University. After working as a Research Fellow at Cambridge and Sydney Universities, she obtained a faculty position at the University of Manchester before being invited back to Cambridge University. At Cambridge she led the creation and development of one of the first University Geo Environmental laboratories.
Chrysanthi undertook psychodynamic counselling training at Birkbeck College, London, and Cambridge before working as a counsellor at the Cambridge University Counselling Service. She has also been a Visiting Professor at City University, London.
